Based in Allithwaite, Grange Over Sands, we cover most of South Cumbria
We provide services to a range of commercial and residential customers in the South Lakes.
From general garden maintenance and pruning, to full garden design projects. We can provide you with a no cost quote for your ongoing work, or one-off projects.
Gardening is an ongoing process and we will discuss with you how to establish a garden that is attractive to the eye during all seasons.
We have the expertise to add plants gradually, so that your garden will be attractive through all seasons: winter, spring, summer and autumn.
Our Ethos
We like to attract butterflies into your garden and there are many plants that we consider both for this purpose and for their beauty.
We especially like 'Black Knight' buddleia, for its rich, deep purple flowers, and 'Champagne' for its larger flower spikes and longer flowering period.
Weeds
If you are agreeable, there are some plants normally classed as weeds, which we prefer to control rather than remove.
For example, common nettles are the food plant of red admiral and peacock butterflies, so we like to keep a small patch of these in an out of the way section of the garden.
